Knicks’ James Dolan disses Spurs’ NBA Finals halftime shows

James Dolan’s confidence is on an absolute high at the moment as he took shots at the San Antonio Spurs ahead of Game 5 of the 2026 NBA Finals.

The New York fanbase is over the moon after seeing their team pull off a historic comeback for the ages in Game 4. The Knicks came back from a 29-point deficit to beat the Spurs and go up 3-1 in the championship series. They are officially one win away from clinching their first title since 1973.

Dolan has been the Knicks’ owner since the late-1990s, finally enjoying his second NBA Finals appearance and first since 1999. With a title getting closer to his grasp, the owner went on WFAN radio to take shots at San Antonio for their halftime shows.

“You know at halftime what’s happening tonight? The reunification of the whole Wu-Tang Clan,” Dolan said. “I gotta say, we had Cardi B at halftime for the third game, we have the reunification of Wu-Tang for the fourth game and San Antonio had a dog on a beach ball during their halftime.”

What lies ahead for James Dolan, Knicks

The Knicks hope to finish off the Spurs and win their first title since 1973 with a win on the road in Game 5. The contest will begin on June 13 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
