Ahead of Game 5 of the NBA Finals, injured WWE Superstar Bronson Reed is bracing for the New York Knicks to put the San Antonio Spurs away.
He was asked by a fan on X, formerly Twitter, who he was taking in the NBA Finals. Reed didn’t stutter when replying, “Knicks in 5.”
That means Reed expects the Knicks to close out the NBA Finals in San Antonio on Saturday, June 13. If they do, they will bring the franchise its first championship in 53 years.
Currently, Reed is on the shelf with an injury. He tore his bicep in February 2026, becoming the latest member of The Vision to suffer an injury.
Will the Knicks win the NBA Finals in Game 5 vs. the Spurs?

The Knicks will have a chance to win a championship for the first time in 53 years in Game 5. However, it will be a tall task. They will be playing a hungry Spurs team, who just blew a historic 29-point lead in Game 4 to New York.
At the same time, the Knicks went into San Antonio and won the first two games of the series there. They went up 2-0 before the Spurs won Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
It appears that the series was about to be tied going into Game 5, but the Knicks came back in Game 4. They were down by as much as 29 points.
The game’s MVP was OG Anunoby, who scored 33 points in the contest. He was extremely efficient, making 66% of his shots, including going 7-9 on three-pointers.
However, his biggest play of the game came really late. With under six seconds to go, Jalen Brunson shot a deep three-pointer over Victor Wembanyama. Wemby didn’t get a piece of it, but Brunson didn’t make the shot.
Anunoby, who delivered the inbound pass, flew in and tipped the miss through the hoop. The Knicks held on during the next defensive possession, completing the historic comeback.
