Roma must meet UEFA’s Financial Fair Play deadline and must realize the notorious €60 million in capital gains by June 30.
Among the potential cash-generating sales is Jan Ziolkowski.
The Polish defender, who arrived only last summer from Legia Warsaw, could leave Trigoria after just one season and join Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
Negotiations, however, have slowed significantly due to the delicate situation facing the East Midlands club, with former Roma director Lina Souloukou poised to make way for Tognozzi, who has received an offer to become the club’s sporting coordinator from president Marinakis.
Roma is asking for around €20 million to let their player leave. In that case, the capital gain would be around €15 million, having been acquired from Legia for €6 million.
Ziolkowski, for his part, is reportedly willing to pack his bags, but only to move to England: so far, he has rejected advances from Turkish clubs and Spanish club Getafe, writes SiamoLaRoma.it.
